Le 29 juin, le Mustang fait sa parade, démarche déterminée, poil lustré et crinière au vent. C’est l’édition Pride de la soirée super gay, bien ouverte à toute, made in À la folie. Mustang creuse depuis 2019 un sillon qui met au goût du jour une certaine histoire du clubbing gay, entre line-ups house ultra-sharp et imaginaire lascif. À l’affiche de cette fête de début d’été, quatre DJs venus de trois coins de la planète, qui modèlent, chacun à leur façon, le paysage club de leur ville.

🐎 DJ MINX (Detroit)
L’une des figures les plus aimées de la house et de la techno de Detroit, DJ Minx, règne en tant que Première Dame de Detroit depuis plus de trois décennies. Elle est une figure centrale de l’histoire de la musique de Detroit, elle a occupé plusieurs places en résidence comme au Motor Club, ou bien sur plusieurs radios. En 2023, DJ Minx continue son ascension et sort son EP, The Throne, via Higher Ground. Elle est même lauréate du Spirit of Detroit Award pour ses contributions au paysage culturel de la ville.

🐎DAVID ELIMELECH (Tel Aviv)
Après sa découverte adolescente de la house music, David Elimelech s’est rapidement imposé sur la scène club de Tel Aviv comme le DJ local booké sur les dates où jouaient ses idoles de Chicago, Detroit et New-York.
Aujourd’hui impliqué sur la scène queer et toujours passionné de son old-school, il est l’un de trois gais-lurons, aux côtés de Roi Perez et Partok, aux manettes des soirées Laundrette.

🐎 DJ ANDRÉ (Paris)
La légende fait de lui un pionnier à Paris. Il est l’un des premiers à avoir joué de la house garage par chez nous à la fin des années 80. Imaginez l’émerveillement au Palace et aux afters Kit Kat. Aujourd’hui résident mensuel de la disco room de la Mona, il reste le gardien du groove.

🐎 FREDERIC DJAALEB (Paris)
Le résident de Mustang est l’un des hommes qui ont fait peser la house et la techno de ce côté-ci de l’Atlantique depuis les premiers temps, en accompagnant, entre autres faits héroïques, les carrières de Jeff Mills, Carl Cox ou Richie Hawtin.

On June 29, the Mustang parades with a determined gait, lustrous coat, and mane blowing in the wind. This is the Pride edition of the super gay, all-inclusive party, made in À la folie. Since 2019, Mustang has been carving out a niche that brings a certain history of gay clubbing up to date, blending ultra-sharp house line-ups with a lascivious imagination. This early summer party features four DJs from three corners of the planet, each shaping the club landscape of their city in their own unique way.

🐎 DJ MINX (Detroit)
One of the most beloved figures in Detroit’s house and techno scene, DJ Minx has reigned as the First Lady of Detroit for over three decades. She is a central figure in Detroit’s music history, holding residencies at places like the Motor Club and on various radio stations. In 2023, DJ Minx continues her rise with the release of her EP, “The Throne,” via Higher Ground. She is even a recipient of the Spirit of Detroit Award for her contributions to the city’s cultural landscape.

🐎 DAVID ELIMELECH (Tel Aviv)
After discovering house music as a teenager, David Elimelech quickly established himself on Tel Aviv’s club scene, often booked to play alongside his idols from Chicago, Detroit, and New York. Today, deeply involved in the queer scene and passionate about old-school sounds, he is one of the three merry men, along with Roi Perez and Partok, who run the Laundrette parties.

Legend has it he is a pioneer in Paris. He was one of the first to play garage house here in the late ’80s. Imagine the wonder at Palace and the Kit Kat afters. Now a monthly resident in Mona’s disco room, he remains the guardian of the groove.
